SQL Saturday – I’m going to Tampa!!

Have you ever been to a SQL Saturday?  If so, then you already know why you’ll want to come to this event.  If you have never been to a SQL Saturday, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?

Brought to you by SQL PASS, SQL Saturday is a volunteer led FREE training event.  Chances are good that there is a SQL Saturday event near you during any given month.  Check here for the most recent schedule.

The next event you can find me at is SQL Saturday Tampa, FL on March 29, 2012.  But, Josh.  You live in MI.  Whysqlsat110_web Tampa?  To be perfectly honest, I was browsing the schedule and needed an event to go to in March.  Tampa seemed like a nice, warm place to visit after the cold dreary weather of MI winter.

I’m going to be presenting a brand new topic that I’ve been working on titled “Little in the Middle, but Got Much [Write]Back”.  I’m really excited to give this talk!  I’ll be showing you all about write-back capabilities in Analysis Services, and even doing some demos of the technology in action.

If you are attending this event, I hope to see you there!  If you have some interest in learning about how to build budgeting/forecast capabilities into existing analytic structures please attend my session.  If not, don’t worry, there are going to be so many great sessions to attend  Check out the full schedule here.

I’d like to thank Pam Shaw, and the entire SQL Saturday #110 volunteer team for making this event happen.  Also, thank you to all of the sponsors.  Without them, this event could not be free.   The speakers and other volunteers also deserve a big THANK YOU!  Many take time away from families, and travel from personal budgets.  It’s a big sacrifice, and I thank you for taking the time to help make events like these possible.
